Staged every two years at Cologne's trade fair centre, the Koelnmesse, is the Photokina.

Since 1925, the Photokina has been the world's leading tradefair for all aspects of the art of photography - attracting exhibitors from nearly 1600 companies from 146 different countries. In addition to featuring the state-of-the-art developments in conventional photography, video and digital systems, the tradefair also showcases the latest trends in professional visual communications. And to celebrate the occasion, the city of Cologne stages over 50 photo exhibitions featuring the work of the local "photography scene".
