Supay & The Yellow Tailed Woolly Monkeys
Native to the Peruvian Andes the Yellow Tailed Woolly Monkey is critically endangered due to habitat loss. Calling on the Peruvian Inca Gods of old I chose Supay the god of death and ruler of the underworld (Uca Pacha) to represent their plight.
Designed for the ON THIS PLANET. exhibition organised and curated by Jenny Tang aka Definitely Jenny this charity illustration exhibition will take place at The Old Street Gallery, London from 17th - 21st May 2019.
Funds raised from print sales will go to the World Land Trust, where, for every £100 = 1 acre of land will be protected and preserved for wildlife. All artwork exhibited and prints will be risographed. The Risograph is an environmentally friendly and cost effective printer, which uses soy-based inks to produce unique outcomes.
